Ignition leads for gas-powered generators

TG-SENTECH ignition leads are designed for industrial equipment and generators (gensets) running on producer gas, natural gas, CNG and LPG. They feature high-quality PTFE sleeves, a seal patented by GG Profits engineers and a venting stabiliser that fits different cylinder head heights. On many designs only the lead itself can be replaced rather than the whole assembly.

GG Profits has extended its range with specialist ignition leads for all types of industrial equipment running on producer gas, natural gas, CNG and LPG. These engines require materials that are exceptionally resistant to external factors.

Work on this range of innovative ignition leads has been under way since 2011. The current design is the result of the efforts of our Technical and Quality departments. Particularly noteworthy is the seal patented by GG Profits engineers: its technology can be used in a variety of engine designs and eliminates failures. We have made every effort to improve on the functionality of the leads available on the market, and laboratory tests confirm the benefits of the innovative TG-SENTECH ignition leads.

Advantages of TG-SENTECH ignition leads

  • Durability – thanks to sleeves made of high-quality PTFE, resistant to high temperatures and chemicals.
  • Seals matched to different types of spark plug – the right seal provides excellent electrical insulation (no arcing to engine earth) and resistance to all kinds of fluids and dirt (oil, fuel, water, dust). High-quality materials and suitable shapes stop the seal sticking to the spark plug ceramic, so the leads can be removed and refitted without problems even after a long time in service. The shapes are also designed to give proper stability and resistance to vibration while the generator engine is running.
  • Excellent venting – a specially designed stabiliser positions the PTFE sleeve precisely on the spark plug and vents gases that build up in the spark plug well. Its universal design solves the problem of different cylinder head heights, making it easy to set the right position. The stabiliser also damps vibration very effectively.
  • Different lead types – wire-wound, resistive and copper cores, with suitably selected insulation materials.
  • Copper lead – can be supplied with a resistor of any value in the standard series.
  • Replacing just the lead – thanks to the innovative design, only the ignition lead itself needs replacing instead of the whole assembly (where the design allows). This significantly reduces servicing costs and lets us freely adapt the lead type and length to different designs and applications.
