The ignition of LPG is much more difficult that of fuel. In addition the combustion process is different. Highervoltage and longer duration of spark on spark-plug are essential to ignite the gas mixture. Ignition cables in view of their construction are adapted to eliminate electromagnetic interferences. All this is achieved by putting a resistor splitting along conductor in córę or through an electrical resistance in the core. To guarantee the highest spark's energy and Iow voltage drop, Iow electrical resistance wires have to be used.
